
Dr. McDermott brings over a decade of specialized expertise in child and adolescent psychology to her practice. Her journey in psychology began with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas State University in 2005, followed by a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2007. She completed her doctoral studies at the University of Oregon, earning her PhD in School Psychology in 2012.​ Her clinical training was completed at the prestigious Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she completed both her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship.
