Fee Structure & Payment Information

 

Hourly Rate: All assessment services are provided at a rate of $250 per hour.

 

Comprehensive Assessment Services:

Assessment services include everything needed for a thorough evaluation:

•   Initial telehealth diagnostic interview

•   Administration and scoring of standardized testing measures

•   Expert interpretation of all test results

•   Comprehensive record review

•   Detailed written report 

•   Consultation with educators and/or other healthcare providers (when applicable)

•   Telehealth feedback appointment with personalized recommendations​

Transparent Pricing & Payment:

You'll receive a comprehensive quote at the beginning of our work together - this represents your maximum cost with no hidden fees or surprise charges.

Payment Schedule for Assessment Services:

•   50% deposit due after your initial telehealth diagnostic interview or consultation appointment

•   Balance due following the feedback appointment and before completion of the written report

Cash, check, and all major credit/debit cards are accepted.

Insurance & Maximizing Your Benefits:

McDermott Psychological is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly; however, the practice is committed to supporting your reimbursement efforts. Upon full payment, you'll receive a detailed superbill with all information required for insurance submission.

To optimize your potential reimbursement, it is recommended  you contact your insurance provider before beginning services to:

•   Review your out-of-network psychological testing benefits

•   Understand their reimbursement process and documentation requirements

•   Inquire about coverage rates for psychological testing services

•   CPT codes for your insurance inquiry: 90791, 96130, 96131, 96136, and  96137
